Cada Flush'd Out

Joe Cada
Joe Cada

Joe Cada opened to 250 from under the gun and found two callers from the cutoff and the button.

Cada led out for 550 on a {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop and was called in one spot before the button player moved all in for in excess of 5,000. Cada slid his last 4,300 into the pot and after nearly two minutes in the tank, the player caught in the middle open-mucked his {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}.

Cada: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Opponent: {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

With Cada needing to find an ace, six of a combination of running cards for a straight he would hit the {A-Hearts} on the turn to push him way out in front.

However his opponent's two-pair had now been turned into a flush draw, and after the {7-Hearts} spiked on the river, the 2009 WSOP Champion made his was to the rail.

"Good game guys" were the last words uttered by Cada as he made his way off the tournament floor.

Pocket Rockets Send Negreanu Off

Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu moved all in with his remaining 1,075 and was instantly called by an opponent holding the {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}.

Negreanu was in tough shape with the {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and it only got worse when the flop came {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. The {3-Clubs} on the turn sealed the deal and left Negreanu drawing dead. The irrelevant river was the {6-Clubs} and Negreanu made his exit from the tournament floor.

Obrestad Drowned on the River

Annette Obrestad
Annette Obrestad

On a board showing {Q-Clubs}{K-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs}, an unknown player bet 625 and Obrestad moved all in for her remaining chips. Her opponent made the call and Obrestad was looking good when the cards were turned over.

Obrestad: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Unknown Player: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

All Obrestad needed to do was avoid a king or queen on the river, but her luck didn't hold when the {K-Diamonds} appeared. Both players made a full house, but Obrestad's was lower and she was eliminated from her first 2010 World Series of Poker tournament.

The Maven Busts

David Chicotsky
David Chicotsky

According to a player who witnessed the action, David "The Maven" Chicotsky made a small raise and was reraised by an unknown opponent. The reraise was enough to put Chicotsky all in for around 1,200, and he made the call.

Chicotsky: {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}
Opponent: {7-}{7-}

The board didn't bring Chicotsky any help and he was eliminated early in Level 2.

Negreanu Chipped Down

On a flop of {9-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} Daniel Negreanu was faced with a bet of 600.

After some deliberation he bumped it up to 1,200 only to have his opponent three-bet to 3,000. Negreanu moved all in and his opponent made the call for his final 900.

Negreanu: {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Opponent: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

With Negreanu needing to catch the remaining two in the deck to eliminate his opponent, the {6-Spades} on the turn and {8-Spades} on the river saw the Team PokerStars Canada Pro slip to around 1,300 in chips.
