Fricke Falls

Jimmy Fricke had his last few thousand in the pot and found some action from his opponent in the blinds.

Fricke: {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{8-Spades}{A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} to see Fricke eliminated with a runner-runner wheel.

Schoenberg Slips

Erica Schoenberg in action

With around 1,500 in the pot, Erica Schoenberg led out for 750 on a {2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop and forced three folds and one call.

The turn landed the {7-Diamonds}, and following a check from her opponent, Schoenberg tossed in two yellow 1,000-denomination chips. Her opponent moved all in for 2,125 and Schoenberg made the call.

Schoenberg: {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Opponent: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

With Schoenberg getting outdrawn on the turn by her opponent she could still find a ten or a heart that didn't pair the board to send her opponent packing.

Unfortunately for one of poker's glamour girls, the river fell the {6-Clubs} to see her slip down to 2,200 in chips.

Esfandiari Takes a Hit

On a flop of {J-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{K-Spades}, Antonio Esfandiari checked, an unknown player bet 500, and Matt Glantz raised to 1,175. When action got back to Esfandiari reraised to around 4,000. The original bettor moved all in, Glantz folded, and Esfandiari called for a total of 6,150.

Esfandiari: {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Original Bettor: {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

The turn was the {J-Hearts} giving the all-in player a full house. The {A-Clubs} gave Esfandiari a straight and the dealer began to push him the pot, but he was gracious enough to point out his opponent's full house. Esfandiari is down to about 3,000 chips.
