Chen Even Closer to a Century

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

We only have the tail end of this hand, joining the pot as the river card came out on the {7-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} board. There was about 18,000 in the middle already, and Andrew Chen made the leading bet of 9,500. His opponent was Nichoel Jurgens, and she spent a long while in the tank, considering the decision for most of her remaining chips. She only had 14,325 left in fornt of her, and after several minutes of agony, she threw 10,000 of them into the middle to make the call.

Chen quickly showed up {6-Hearts} {8-Hearts}, the nuts. Peppe couldn't beat it, and she looked a little displeased as she mucked, dropping back to just 4,825.

Chen is closing in on the century mark, stacking up just over 97,000 chips after that pot.
