The board ran dry for Fohrenbach, coming and ending his second deep run of the 2011 WSOP. (Fohrenbach finished sixth in the Event 4 $5,000 No Limit Hold'em event just a couple days ago.)
Daniel Haglund raised to 51,000 from the cut off. Lawrence Riley re raised all in for 129,000 from the button. He found a caller in Hunter Frey from the big blind. Haglund laid down his hand to leave Frey and Riley heads up.
Jon "PearlJammer" Turner raised to 57,000 out of the small blind in a blind vs. blind situation and Sadan Turker reraised to 150,000. Turner called.
The flop came and Turner checked, prompting a bet (we missed the exact size) from Turker. Turner flatted.
Both players checked when the came on the turn and Turner checked a third time when the filled the river. Turker responded by making it 277,000 to go. Turner fell deep into the tank. He thought for about four minutes before tossing in a call and posturing himself as if he were ready to muck the second he found out he was second best. However, Turker rapped the table and Turner showed the . Turker mucked his hand.
Turner is now up to 3,010,000 while Turker has slipped to 1,960,000.
Hunter Frey and Daniel Haglund were involved in a big pot shortly after play resumed from the dinner break. Haglund raised to 51,000 from under the gun and Frey re raised to 135,000. Haglund called and the flop came .
Frey led out with a 153,000 bet and Haglund called. The turn brought the . Both players checked the turn.
The fell on the river. Frey led out with a 225,000 bet. Haglund tanked for a while before finally calling. Frey showed and Haglund folded his cards into the muck.
Brandon Shane raised all-in for his remaining 320,000 and was called by Jon "PearlJammer" Turner from the small blind. The big blind folded, to which Turner said, "Good fold."

The flop came , which offered little help to Shane. However, Shane picked up a bunch of outs when the landed on the turn, which caused Shane's rail to start chanting "Spade! Spade!"
Unfortunately for Shane, a fell on the river, ending his deep run.

With Gordon trailing and in desperate need to snag a piece of the flop, the flop gave him some outs to a running chop along with his nine for a straight up win.
