2012 World Series of Poker
With around 100,000 in the pot and a flop of

, Dan Smith managed to get all in with
and was up against the
of Matt Matros. Smith was in good shape and was looking to dodge a diamond, which he did on the
turn.
Matros was still looking for a diamond to eliminate Smith, but it wasn't in the cards as the
river improved Smith to a full house.

We caught up with the action on an

flop, where Joseph Cheong was heads up in a pot against Rodrigo Caprioli.
Cheong quickly fired 11,500 into the middle from early position and Caprioli called from the cutoff seat.
Both players checked the
turn, however, when the
completed the board, Cheong cut out a bet to 28,500 and placed it in the middle. Caprioli didn't take long to fold and Cheong scooped the pot.
Cheong is up to 360,000.

We happened upon Table 440 with Daniel Perper all in for 103,000 and at risk against Konstantin Puchkov.
Showdown
Puchkov:

Perper:

Perper was racing for his tournament life, and even though he was ahead, he didn't seem too comfortable even after the flop came down

. With that said, Perper did breathe a big sigh of relief when the
turned and guaranteed him the win. After the meaningless
was put out on the river, Puchkov paid off Perper and dropped to 125,500.
