"Hold 'Em, Froggy!"

Mike Sexton
Mike Sexton

On the first hand back from the dinner break, action folded to Frederic Banjout in the hijack seat and he raised to 600,000. Play then folded over to Mike Sexton in the big blind and he reraised all in for 1.5 million. Banjout quickly called and turned over the {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. Sexton held the {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}.

"Hold 'em, froggy!" yelled out Sexton as he tabled his hand.

The flop, turn and river ran out {J-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} and Sexton doubled up. He pumped his right fist in the air when the river card hit and followed that with a big clap of his hands. Sexton moved to over 3.3 million in chips.

Bobby Baldwin

The 1978 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Bobby Baldwin just got himself a very lucky double up in order to stay alive in this event.
