Triple for Hayamizu

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

A big three-way all-in hand just developed over on Table 368 in Amazon Orange just before the table was about to break that saw Manami Hayamizu at risk for her last 34,200 with {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}, another short-stacked player all in as well with {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, and a third player who had both covered holding {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}.

The flop came {4-Spades}{3-Spades}{J-Hearts}, the case jack giving Hayamizu a set and a stranglehold on the hand. The {5-Spades} then appeared on the turn, eliciting a few "oohs" as it gave both of the other players slim hopes for drawing either to quads (in the case of the player with pocket fives) or a wheel (in the case of the one holding ace-jack).

But the river was the {4-Diamonds}, and Hayamizu enjoyed both surviving and collecting a big boost to her stack before she moved to her new table.

Court Continues to Chip Up

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

North Carolina's own Court Harrington raised to 2,700 in middle position, and a player on his direct left three-bet to 9,700. The action folded back to Harrington, who called, and the flop fell {9-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Harrington checked, his opponent fired out 6,500, and Harrington called.

The turn was the {5-Spades}, both players knuckled, and the {4-Clubs} completed the board. Harrington reached for chips, prompting his opponent to grimace, and the player snap-mucked the second Harrington's 21,000-chip bet hit the felt.

Lee Turns It; Cody Rivers It

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Jake Cody
Jake Cody

The action started with David Lee opening to 3,000 from under the gun, and finding four callers to the flop.

The dealer spread out {5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}, as the big blind checked his option. Lee then opted to move all in for his last 35,400 in chips, before Jake Cody made the call from late position. The other three players in the hand folded their cards, before Lee and Cody exposed theirs.

Cody: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Lee: {Q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The {q-Hearts} fell on the turn, giving Lee the lead. However, Cody received additional outs, with a heart on the river potentially giving him the win as well. But it wasn’t needed, as the {a-Spades} completed the board, giving Cody the better set, sending Lee to the rail.

Love Loses a Few

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Imari Love began Day 2c as one of the leaders and enjoyed a positive first level today. However he's gradually slid back to the middle of the pack as the day has progressed.

Just now he lost a few more chips in a hand that saw him opening for 2,500 from under the gun and getting two callers from the button and big blind. The flop came {2-Spades}{Q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, and when checked to Love continued for 3,500 and only the big blind stuck around. The turn then brought the {7-Hearts} and a bet of 13,200 from his opponent, to which after pausing about a minute Love folded.

On the bright side for Love, he still sits with more than 100,000 chips.

Glazier Clips Timoshenko

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Yevgeniy Timoshenko opened from the lo-jack to 2,700 only to have Jackie Glazier three-bet the cutoff to 4,200.

Timoshenko starred at Glazier for close to two minutes before making the call as the flop landed {5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{J-Spades}. Timoshenko checked and Glazier slid out a bet of 4,900 which was met with a fold from TImoshenko.

As Glazier raked in the pot to move to 140,000, Timoshenko slips to below 90,000 in chips.
