Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Thayer "Thay3r" Rasmussen just sent a chunk of his stack over to a shorter-stacked player. We didn't see Rasmussen's hand, but he lost to {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} on a board of {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

Adams Waits for Nguyen

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

WSOP bracelet winner Timothy Adams defended his big blind against an under the gun raise to 6,500 from 2010 November Niner Soi Nguyen and they went heads-up to a {k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop.

Adams check-called a 7,500-chip bet from Nguyen, and did the same when Nguyen bet 18,000 on the scary {a-Spades} turn.

Both players then checked the {9-Hearts} river and Adams showed down {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} to earn the check mark and collect the pot.

Harris' Turn to Win a Flip

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

A player moved all in for 43,500 under the gun, and Lance Harris made the call from the small blind as he dressed his dinner. The big blind folded, and Harris turned over {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. His opponent held {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

Harris motioned to his opponent as the flop came {5-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, but the {9-Spades} hit the turn to give Harris an unbeatable set.

Harris Takes a Hit

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Daniel Engels opened for 6,000 in middle position, and Lance Harris three-bet to 14,500 from the next spot. Engels jammed it in when action folded back to him, and Harris dropped in calling chips.

Harris: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Engels: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The two were racing, but it was Engels getting to the finish line when the community came {7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Noah Vaillancourt has made two final tables at the World Series of Poker, but won't be matching that feat in this event.

He raised it up, Robert Tepper fired back, Vaillancourt shipped and Tepper made the call with {k-}{k-}.

Vaillancourt had {10-}{10-} and busted after failing to improve.

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
James Mackey busted in a race.
James Mackey busted in a race.

Phil Delaney opened for 5,500 in the cutoff, and James Mackey shipped it for about 35,000 on the button. Delaney thought for a bit then dropped in calling chips.

Mackey: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Delaney: {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

Mackey slid back in his seat even though the dealer gave him some additional outs on the {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{q-Hearts} flop. The {4-Diamonds} turn was a brick, and Delaney was the one to improve on the {5-Diamonds} river.

"Good luck, guys," Mackey said.
