Gronning Takes from Zinno

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

From the cutoff, Anthony Zinno raised to 8,000 and Lars Gronning called from the button.

The flop landed {7-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Zinno continued for 9,000 with Gronning making the call.

The turn brought the {Q-Clubs} and both players checked as the {5-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Zinno checked, as did Gronning, and Zinno tabled his {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.

Gronning revealed his {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and scooped the entire pot.

Prasetyo Eliminates Negreanu

Badacey

Aditya Prasetyo raised and Daniel Negreanu three-bet it in the cutoff. Prasetyo called and took two and Negreanu did likewise. Prasetyo check-called and took two again, and Negreanu took one. Prasetyo check-raised to get Negreanu's last 13,200 in. He then patted and Negreanu drew.

Prasetyo showed {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Clubs} for a nine low and a seven-dugi. Negreanu turned over {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and needed a low club to scoop. He got the {10-Clubs}, though, entitling him to none of the pot and leaving him busted at the hands of Prasetyo.

"On to the next one, as they say," said "Kid Poker".

Miller Takes One in Badugi

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Badugi

Ryan Miller raised under the gun to 12,000 and Nikolai Yakovenko three-bet to 18,000 next to speak.

Miller called and drew one, as Yakovenko stood pat.

Miller checked and Yakovenko bet out 6,000. Miller check-raised to two bets, and Yakovenko mucked.

Woods Doubles Through Miller

James Woods

Badugi

James Woods gave Ryan Miller a speech about how the last time they were in this spot, Woods sniffed out a bluff, then said he was all in over a bet after the second draw. Woods said it was less than a raise. Miller put in enough to call and both players patted.

"Eight," Miller said.

"Five!" Woods responded, slamming down {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades} and then high-fiving a friend on the rail.

As it turned out once the chips were counted, Woods actually had slightly more than a raise, by 1,200. The tournament supervisor ruled to accept the action and made Miller match Woods' full stack, much to the chagrin of Miller.
