Shakerchi With the Double Knockout

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante
Talao Shakershi
Talao Shakershi

With Andreas Eiler all-in preflop for less than 1,000, three other players were still in the hand. Talal Shakerchi was one of them, and he along with another player checked the {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} flop to the button who bet 15,000. Shakerchi called and the third player moved all in for 25,000. The button folded and Shakerchi called.

All hands were turned over.

Andreas Eiler: {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Talal Shakerchi: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Player 3: {6-Spades}{9-Spades}

Shakerchi had flopped the nut flush, and both his opponents were drawing dead. The turn {9-Hearts} and river {q-Hearts} were dealt, and it was unclear whether Shakerchi had his opponent covered. In the end, it was discovered that Shakerchi covered him by just 200 chips, meaning he scooped his bounty along with Eiler's.

Tilly Talks Herself into a Double-up

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante
Jennifer Tilly
Jennifer Tilly

The player in the under-the-gun position raised to 2,500 and only Jennifer Tilly called on the button.

The dealer gave them the {2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} on the flop and the initial raised continued with a bet of 4,000. Tilly raised to 11,000 and her opponent called.

The turn brought them the {9-Spades}, Tilly's opponent continued with a bet of 5,000. Tilly counted out her stack and considered her options. After looking at the board and her opponent again, she called, leaving herself behind with 6,900.

The river completed the board with the {7-Hearts}. Tilly's opponent now put her all-in by putting 10,000 over the line. Tilly tanked.

"I am so confused. I think you might have aces or kings. Why would you bet 25 pre-flop when you could have made it more? And this after raising you on the flop?" Tilly said

After going through some more options, Tilly opted to call and got up from her seat.

Jennifer Tilly: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Under-the-gun player: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}

Tilly had flopped top pair with top-kicker with the queens and her opponent held pocket jacks to double Tilly up.

Macdonnell Doubles Up

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante
Marc MacDonnell
Marc MacDonnell

On a {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{q-Clubs}{8-Hearts} board, one player checked to Marc Macdonnell who moved all in for 25,000, throwing in his $3,000 bounty chip for good measure.

His opponent thought before calling, and Macdonnell's flush with {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs} was good enough to take down the pot, beating the {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} of his opponent.

Dylan Linde
Dylan Linde

Dylan Linde raised to 1,500 from early position and Dylan Wilkerson shoved behind him for 8,375. In late position, Dean Baranowski gave it some thought before flicking in two T-5,000 chips to call.

Back on Linde, he quickly announced all-in and Baranowski swiftly let it go.

Dylan Wilkerson: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Dylan Linde: {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

The battle of the Dylan's was won by Linde after the board ran out {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{8-Spades} and he collected the $3,000 bounty from Wilkerson.
