More For Kerignard

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Luiz Duarte opened the button for 27,000 and big blind Yorane Kerignard called.

Kerignard check-called 35,000 on the flop of {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}, and 80,000 on the {J-Hearts} turn.

The {J-Spades} river saw both players check and Kerignard took it down with his {7-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. The flopped two-pair got counterfeited on the river but still proved good as Duarte mucked.

Duarte Eliminates Farin

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Alexander Farin opened to 27,000 under the gun. Luiz Duarte called from the cutoff. The small blind then three-bet to 107,000. Action back on Farin, he four-bet shoved for around 320,000. Duarte then reshoved for 532,000, and the small blind folded.

Alexander Farin: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Luiz Duarte: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, giving Duarte the big pot and sending Farin to the rail.

Hartree Calls With Third Pair

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Christian Rudolph limped in from the small blind after glancing over to his neighbor's stack. Big blind Kyle Hartree checked his option.

Rudolph led out for 13,000 on {Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Hartree called. They both checked the {2-Diamonds} on the turn, then the {A-Clubs} completed the board. Rudolph bet 16,000 and Hartree called.

Rudolph showed {K-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for fourth pair, but the pot went to Hartree who had better with {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

A flop reading {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{4-Hearts} was dealt and was checked through to the {7-Hearts} turn. Again, both players checked. The {8-Diamonds} river completed the board. Bozzano bet 48,000, and Mermelstein snap-called. Bozzano showed {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and Mermelstein revealed {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} to take down the pot.

Palmer Keeps Building

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Start-of-day chip leader Ben Palmer opened to 26,000 from under the gun, and Gary Hasson called from the button.

The flop was {4-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Palmer bet 28,000, and Hasson called. The turn was the {q-Hearts}. Palmer checked, and Hasson threw in a bet of 62,000. Palmer called. The {8-Spades} river completed the board, and both players checked.

Palmer tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}, and that was good enough to rake in the pot as Hasson mucked.

Marquez vs. Mercier, Round 3

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ana Marquez and Jason Mercier keep playing pots against each other. There are four tables total, but so far it are the pots between these two that have mainly caught our attention.

Marquez opened the cutoff for 26,000 and Jason Mercier called from the big blind. Mercier check-called 25,000 on {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{10-Hearts} before they both checked the {K-Diamonds} on the turn.

The {9-Clubs} completed the board and Mercier checked for the third time. Marquez bet 55,000 and Mercier went deep into the tank. After some minutes, he called.

"I must be beat," Marquez said before revealing {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.

Mercier showed {A-Clubs}{2-Spades} and the two chopped the pot.

Marquez Takes it (Again) With a Turn Bet

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ana Marquez opened the cutoff for 26,000 and the button folded right away. Small blind Luiz Duarte had bigger plans and three-bet. We didn't get the sizing, but big blind Jason Mercier folded while initial raiser Marquez called.

On the flop of {5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}, Duarte continued for 65,000. Marquez wasn't backing down and called rather quickly.

The {2-Clubs} hit the turn and Duarte checked. Marquez cut out 190,000 and slid the chips forward. Duarte didn't hesitate much and folded.
