Chad Eveslage raised in middle position, Kate Hoang called on the button and Robert Coates defended his big blind. The flop was {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Spades} and Coates bet 20,000, leaving himself with 2,000 behind. Both Eveslage and Hoang called.

The river was the {7-Diamonds} and Eveslage put in a big bet. Hoang raised and Eveslage called.

Robert Coates: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{8-Spades}
Kate Hoang: {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Chad Eveslage: {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Hoang held a straight as well as the nut low and took three-quarters of the pot. Eveslage picked up a quarter with his nut low, and Coates was eliminated.

Woodward Gets Quartered; Shulman Doubles

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Matt Woodward was quartered by Daniel Buzgon when his {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts} faced the {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} of Buzgon on a board of {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. Woodward had called a raise out of the big blind and check-called twice.

Jeff Shulman chopped once to remain in contention and then raised first to act right after. Julien Martini three-bet and Shulman called all in for 46,000.

Jeff Shulman: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Julien Martini: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

The board came {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Shulman doubled with a full house.

Mike Wattel Eliminated in 21st Place ($6,764)

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Mike Wattel
Mike Wattel

After bets already went in on the {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{J-Hearts} flop, James Pursley bet the {9-Spades} turn and Mike Wattel called all in for his last 23,000.

Mike Wattel: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
James Pursley: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Wattel was drawing live with his flush draw against Pursley's trip kings but the {J-Clubs} river wasn't the out he was looking for. Wattel, who captured a bracelet in the 10K Stud last year, finished in 21st place.

Kopp Doubles Through Wong

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

William Kopp was all in and at risk with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} against Danny Wong's {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and the board ran out {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{7-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. There was no low hand possible and the full house of Kopp locked up the double.

Over on table 526, Daniel Buzgon in the cutoff and Robert Campbell on the button had three bets in until the river of a board {9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. Buzgon got the rest of his stack in and Campbell reluctantly folded.

Miracle River Saves Lee

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

On a {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} board, Mack Lee bet, Errol Massey raised and Lee called his final chips all in with a sigh.

Mack Lee: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Errol Massey: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Massey had outflopped Lee's aces with his ace-king and Lee was drawing very slim if he was to survive. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn opened up a straight draw, but also gave Massey a flush draw.

However, it was the case {A-Spades} that landed on the river to give Lee the improbable double-up. Massey instantly whipped out his phone to capture his unlikely defeat.
