Schmadeke Takes From Bicknell

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Kristen Bicknell
Kristen Bicknell

Harlan Schmadeke has a couple of WSOP cashes under his belt, and with around 10 players to go to the money in this tournament this could well be his third as he just won a pot against two-time bracelet winner Kristen Bicknell.

The {4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop was already out and Bicknell had led for 2,500 into two opponents. Schmadeke was next to act and he raised it up to 7,500, which got a fold from the button before Bicknell made up the difference.

The {a-Hearts} turn saw a check from Bicknell and an immediate all-in from Schmadeke, to which Bicknell snap-folded.

Hollenberg Cracks Kings to Double-Up

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The action folded to Michael Hollenberg on the button and he moved all in for 23,800. The player in the small blind called for his last 22,500 and the big blind folded.

Michael Hollenberg: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

There was an ace in the window for Hollenberg on the {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop and his opponent shook his head in disbelief. The turn {10-Hearts} and river {4-Clubs} sealed the deal for Hollenberg who earned the pot and the knockout.

Vampan Takes the Chip Lead

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

It was a mammoth pot, with all the chips flying into the middle preflop.

Dennis Brand opened the action to 4,000 from under the gun. It folded around to the small blind who called and Daniel Vampan three-bet to 16,700. Back on Brand, he moved all in for 161,900 total. This folded out the small blind, but not Vampan who made the call.

Daniel Vampan: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Dennis Brand: {7-}{7-}

The {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} board ran out safe for Vampan and he skyrockets into the chip lead.

Danchev Eliminates Hagerling

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The action folded to Dimitar Danchev in the cutoff and he raised to 3,300. Isaac Hagerling moved all in for 25,000 from the small blind and Danchev called.

Dimitar Danchev: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Isaac Hagerling: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The dealer fanned the {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop and it was no help to Danchev. The turn was the {j-Diamonds} and Hagerling was just one card away from the double-up. The {a-Spades} completed the board and Danchev spiked his ace on the river to take the pot and eliminate Hagerling.

Salimbene Trips Up Mccue-Unciano

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Nicholas Salimbene and Kainalu Mccue-Unciano were heads-up on the river on a {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} board. There was already more than 80,000 in the pot and Salimbene moved all in for 26,600.

Mccue-Unciano thought it over for a bit and eventually slid the calling chips forward. Salimbene turned over {8-Spades}{3-Spades} for trip eights and Mccue-Unciano mucked his hand.

Brinker Doubles Through Hagerling

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

The chips were committed preflop between Dalton Brinker and Isaac Hagerling, and when the cards were turned over, it was off to the races.

Dalton Brinker: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Isaac Hagerling: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The {8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} runout favored Brinker's jacks and he collected the pot, whilst Hagerling was left with just under 25 big blinds.
