Caldwell Gets Value From Jacks Full

Level 5 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With about 220,000 already piled up in the middle and a completed board reading {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, Graham Caldwell bet 150,000 sending the action to heads-up opponent, Dominik Nitsche.

Nitsche took 25 seconds before tossing in a call only to see Caldwell table the {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} for jacks full and released his cards to the muck.

Zinno Doubles Through Eibinger

Level 5 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop Anthony Zinno got his 176,500 stack in the middle against opponent Matthias Eibinger.

Matthias Eibinger: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Anthony Zinno: {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Zinno had outflopped his opponent who held an overpair to the board. The turn {2-Diamonds} and river {5-Spades} failed to save Eibinger who fell to around 170,000 in chips with Zinno doubling up.

Cary Katz Only Plays Big Cards

Level 5 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a flop of {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} Charles Hooks checked as did Daniel Negreanu. Cary Katz was last to act.

"This flop is all over your range," Katz said before tossing out a bet of 15,000. Hooks folded while Negreanu called.

The turn was the {10-Spades} and both players checked.

"I'm going to give you a free card, against my better judgement," Katz said.

The river was the {9-Diamonds} and Negreanu hesitated a moment before putting out a bet of 27,000.

"You're really gonna bet your five-six?" Katz asked. "I'm too easy to read. I only play big cards."

Katz folded his {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} face up. Negreanu then flashed his {5-Hearts} as he raked in the pot.

Kitai Eliminated by Chidwick

Level 5 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With the board reading {3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs} and over 250,000 chips in the pot already, Stephen Chidwick bet enough to put Davidi Kitai all in.

The Belgian three-time bracelet winner used up three time extensions before calling. Chidwick turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and Kitai was forced to turn over {a-}{q-} as he was eliminated from the tournament.

Bonomo Rising

Level 5 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Justin Bonomo raised to 7,000 after a limp from David Saffron. Aymon Hata was in the big blind and he three-bet, making it 28,000. Action folded back to Bonomo who called.

The flop was {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and Hata led out for 22,000. Bonomo called.

On the {Q-Spades} turn, Hata checked and Bonomo checked as well.

Both players checked again on the {7-Hearts} river and Hata showed down his {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} but he was beat as Bonomo was holding {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a pair of jacks, earning him the pot.
