Riesenberg Breaks the Winner, Busts

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Jason Riesenberg closed the action on the river in a three-way pot, calling Alex Simma's bet after Kristan Lord's call. Both of the callers looked at Simma's wheel and Riesenberg was left with just over two bigs.

Riesenberg posted the big blind and his neighbour Jesse Hampton raised in the first position and the action folded to Riesenberg who called. They both changed two and got in the rest of Riesenberg's money.

Riesenberg drew one and Hempton stood pat. Riesenberg wanted to change one on the third draw again and Hempton opened his {A-}{2-}{6-}{7-}{8-}.

Riesenberg showed that he was changing an {8-} and left himself with {A-}{3-}{4-}{7-}.

"You broke the winner," Hempton spotted.

Riesenberg peeled a paint card and said his goodbyes before heading to the payout cage.

Pretty Bad Hand

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Brian Hastings raised, Nam Le called in position and Scott Seiver joined the contest as well. All three players took two and Le and Seiver again called a bet from Hastings.

Seiver changed one, Hastings stood pat and Le discarded two. Hastings bet again, forcing a fold from Le but Seiver countered with a check-raise. Hastings called.

Both Seiver and Hastings patted and Seiver checked. Hastings bet and Seiver let his hand go. He started investigating about the strength of Hasting's hand and the reply he got was: "It wasn't that good."

"Mine was three fours, mine was pretty bad," Seiver offered in return.

"Damn, man, how strong is your hand?" Yockey wondered.

Six is Good for Le

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Badugi

Frank Kassela defended big blind against a Nam Le under-the-gun open and both players drew one. Kassela check-called and drew again while Le was pat. Kassela check-raised after the second draw and Le made it three bets. It took a moment for the right amount to get in as Le used all T1,000 chips and was initially short.

Kassela called and both players patted, followed by Kassela calling a final bet.

"Six," Le said, fanning {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades}.

"You're allowed to short the pot when you know it's coming back," Scott Seiver joked.
