Miller and Deeb Gone; Kessler Gets Some

Level 8 : 1,300/2,500, 0 ante

Marco Johnson raised and Allen Kessler called from one seat over. Johnson bet the {2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop and Kessler called. Both checked the {A-Clubs} turn and Kessler then bet the {6-Hearts} on the river. Johnson reluctantly called and mucked when Kessler tabled {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a pair of aces and the low.

Ryan Miller was scooped by a low and a straight when his {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{J-Clubs} stood no chance versus {J-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} on a board of {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Shaun Deeb departed from the very same table shortly after.

Zinno and Matusow Battle

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

In a battle of small blind versus big blind, Mike Matusow check-called a bet on the {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} turn and the {7-Spades} river to get shown a trey-deuce low by Zinno. Matusow had {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts} and won the high pot.

The very next hand saw both clash once more when Matusow raised on the button and Zinno called in the small blind. The flop fell {Q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Zinno checked. Matusow bet before facing a raise by Zinno. Matusow called and the {6-Spades} turn brought more fireworks with a bet of Zinno, a raise by Matusow, and a call.

Zinno bet the {J-Clubs} river and Matusow mucked an ace-deuce low with two hearts for the busted nut flush draw and nut low draw face up.

Mizrachi Scoops Glaser

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

"Is that guy by any chance the chip leader?" Jean-Robert Bellande asked and continued, "Because he won exactly 100% of the pots against me." Bellande continued to explain one particular hand in table chat while the action was on Glaser on the button, and the Brit raised. Robert Mizrachi called in the big blind and checked the {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop. Glaser bet and Mizrachi called.

On the {3-Hearts} turn, Mizrachi check-called once more to see the {A-Spades} on the river and checked. Glaser checked behind and Mizrachi tabled the {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a wheel to scoop the pot. "You jinxed him," Rafael Concepcion chimed in.

Glaser Eliminates Foley

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

On a {Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} flop, Rylen Sanehisa checked, Timothy Foley bet, Benny Glaser made it two bets, Sanehisa folded and Foley called all in.

Timothy Foley: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Benny Glaser: {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

"I'm gonna need a low," Foley murmured when he saw he was in dire straights. The {3-Diamonds} on the turn ended it on the spot, rendering the {2-Clubs} river moot. With the elimination, Glaser moved up to over 200,000.

Seidel Scoops Three-Way Pot

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Joining the action on the three-way flop of {J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}, Josh Arieh checked out of the small blind and Anson Tsang did so from the under-the-gun position. Erik Seidel in the cutoff bet and picked up two calls. On the {10-Spades} turn, the action checked once more to Seidel and his bet was called by Arieh and Tsang.

The {Q-Clubs} on the river was checked through and Arieh announced a straight before rolling over {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Tsang mucked and Seidel showed the {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} for a winning flush.

Schulman Scoops

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Four players saw a {K-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop with David Benyamine first to act. He checked, as did Felipe Ramos. Nick Shulman bet, Mack Lee called on the button, Benyamine called, and Ramos called as well.

The river was the {9-Diamonds} and Benyamine and Ramos checked to Shulman, who bet again. Lee called, Benyamine folded, and Ramos folded after some thought.

Shulman rolled over {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for ace-king and the nut low, and Lee mucked his hand.
