Three Quarters for Ramos

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Felipe Ramos scored a vital boost to his stack after taking on Daniel Ratigan and earning three quarters of the pot. In a three-bet pot to the {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop, Ratigan checked and called a bet by Ramos before doing so again on the {K-Clubs} turn and the {10-Clubs} river.

Ramos turned over the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for the nut low and a pair of kings, while Ratigan only had {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for the nut low.

Lorgeree Succumbs to Duhamel

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Jonathan Duhamel came in with a raise from the cutoff and it got folded to Doug Lorgeree in the big blind. With not even four big blinds left, Lorgeree took some time before three-betting. Duhamel four-bet the rest in.

Doug Lorgeree: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Jonathan Duhamel: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

The aces remained ahead on the {J-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} runout and Duhamel also hit the nut low to eliminate Lorgeree in 33rd place.

Wayne Diep: {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Paz-Gutirrez made a full house to double up.

Two Chops in a Row

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Mike Matusow limped first to act and Ryan Lenaghan did so from one seat over, Dylan Linde also called. Doug Lorgeree in the big blind checked his option and the flop came {5-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Lenaghan bet and just Linde called. The {3-Hearts} turn and {4-Hearts} river were checked and Lenaghan showed the {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for the wheel. Linde had {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for the wheel as well and failed to get three quarters as the spades flush draw missed.

Right after, Linde raised and called the shove of Lorgeree for 23,000 total. Lorgeree showed the {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Linde turned over his {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Despite flopping a wheel on the {A-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop, Dorgeree also had to settle for a chop after the {3-Diamonds} turn and {2-Spades} river run out.

Quadruple Up for Paz-Gutierrez

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Still on life support, Jose Paz-Gutierrez was all-in for a single T-5,000 chip. Behind him, Nikolai Yakovenko made it two bets and Daniel Ratigan defended his big blind. Ratigan check-called the {4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop but waved the white flag on the {7-Spades} turn.

Jose Paz-Gutierrez: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Nikolai Yakovenko: {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

Yakovenko had some outs to wipe out Paz-Gutierrez but a paint card rolled off on the river to give the Bolivian the double-up.

Coats Spikes the River to Scoop Ryynanen

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Catching the action on a flop of {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Spades} everyone checked over to Sampo Ryynanen who put out a bet. Adam Coats was next to act and he raised. Steven Wolansky called as did Ryynanen.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and action checked to Coats who bet again. Wolansky called while Ryynanen raised. Coats called this time while Wolansky folded.

The river was the {J-Hearts} and Ryynanen bet while Coats just called.

"Nines," Ryynanen said showing his {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{X-}

"I have ace-jack," Coats said. He showed his {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades} and that would earn him the pot.

Elezra Gives One Up; Linde and Duhamel Chop

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Eli Elezra opened from the cutoff and called a three-bet from Stuart Rutter on the button. The flop was {Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Elezra instantly led out, which Rutter called.

Elezra already put a second bet in before the {K-Spades} turn was dealt and Rutter called again. On the {6-Clubs} river, Elezra checked, Rutter bet, and Elezra folded after some thought.

At another table, Dylan Linde defended his big blind against Jonathan Duhamel and check-called the {2-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop, before check-raising the {9-Clubs} turn. Linde bet the {7-Spades} river and Duhamel called.

Dylan Linde: {8-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Jonathan Duhamel: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{6-Clubs}

Linde took the high with a set of deuces, while Duhamel took half with a seven-six low.

Triple Up for Paz-Gutierrez

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

When the community cards were dealt, Jose Paz-Gutierrez had already been all in and Daniel Zack, as well as Wayne Diep, ended up checking down the board of {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{J-Spades}. Zack announced queens and Paz-Gutierrez showed the {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} for a full house, aces over jacks.

"That's good," Diep added and the Bolivian tripled up, but remained just shy of the starting stack.
