Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Tommy Kivela bet 3,000 from the cutoff into a pot of 11,000 on a completed board of {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Jonathan Duhamel on the button was his lone opponent and Duhamel put in a raise to 15,000. Kivela thought about a minute and then called, but Duhamel's {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} was a winner.

Hilton Almost Shoves the River

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Yanki Koppel opened with a raise to 2,000 from early position and action folded around to Jonathan Hilton in the hijack who made it 5,200. Action folded back to Koppel who called.

The flop was {J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Koppel checked. Hilton put out a bet of 3,500 and Koppel called.

On the {3-Clubs} turn, Koppel checked again. Hilton put out another bet, this time for 8,500 and Koppel tanked for a while before he called.

Koppel checked dark before the {K-Spades} hit the river. Hilton thought for a bit then put out a bet of what looked like 28,000, leaving himself with just a bit behind. Koppel quickly folded so Hilton was able to take down the pot with no showdown.

Roca de Torres Busts Kang

Level 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Picking up the action on the {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop, Miles Kang checked and called a bet by Marti Roca de Torres. On the {4-Diamonds} turn, Kang check-called once more for 3,800 and left himself 11,500 behind. The {9-Diamonds} river completed the board and Kang checked. Roca de Torres moved all in and Kang sighed, called all in.

As soon as Roca de Torres showed his {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for top pair, Kang immediately tossed his cards into the muck and quickly headed out of the tournament area.
