Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Ryan Phan checked in the cutoff on {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. From the button, Alexander Haro bet 625,000 and Phan put in a call. The river was a {j-Diamonds} and both players checked.

"What a terrible, terrible river," Haro said, showing {q-Spades}{9-Spades} for a straight.

"Still good," Phan said.

"I know, but what are you calling with? Would you have called another bet on the river?"

In one big hand, Jorden Fox has claimed the chip lead in the 2018 WSOP Main Event. The board was already completed with {3-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and Fox bet 800,000. Gross raised all in for around 3,800,000 and Fox snap-called it off.

Knowing he was beat, Gross flung {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} open in the muck for a pair and a straight blocker. Fox showed the absolute nuts with {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and racked up the nearly ten million chip pot.

"Nut-nut," Fox cheered in celebration.

"Of course he has the jack-ten," Gross muttered, whose Main Event came to an end just like that. He finished in 87nd place and received $77,695.
