All In Except 1K

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

On a board that read {10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}, Robert Lipkin decided to make a unique play.

He said "I would like to bet everything but this" and held up a 1k chip. His opponent, Charles Barton who was facing the bet, was confused by Lipkin's play and by the fact that he moved a 100k stack into the middle as he said announced his bet.
A discussion ensued at the table and eventually the floor was called to make a ruling. The floor determine that it was a valid bet, all in with 1k behind.

Barton had Lipkin covered and raised all in to force Lipkin to toss in his remaining 1K, which he did.

Lipkin showed the winner as he had the {q-Clubs}{k-Clubs} which bested the {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} of Barton, as discussion continued about the bet made by Lipkin.

Aces of Spades River Leads to Two Doubles

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Hand 1:

William Corvino jammed for 176,000 from middle position, and Ryan Brown three-bet shoved for 552,000 on the button, chasing out the blinds.

William Corvino: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Ryan Brown: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

Corvino added a few outs when the {10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts} paired his five, but the {2-Spades} turn left him looking for an ace or five to survive.

"Oooh, Barry Greenstein!" Corvino, who had already began to turn away from the table, said when he caught a glimpse of the {a-Spades} river, and he doubled up.

Hand 2:

Timothy Chung raised to 100,000 from under the gun, leaving himself just 45,000 behind. Wook Kim three-bet to 235,000 in middle position and action folded back to Chung, who called off his stack.

Timothy Chung: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Wook Kim: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Chung would get no help on the {3-Hearts}{k-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop or {10-Hearts} turn, but as the title to this post alluded, the {a-Spades} hit the river, doubling Chung up.

Wolf Cracks A Milly With a Double

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Richard Wolf raised to 45,000 from early position, and Luis Pinho jammed to put Wolf at risk for his last 531,000 from the big blind. Wolf called.

Richard Wolf: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Luis Pinho: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

"Certainly never folding," Wolf said.

Pinho found no ace on the {4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop, but he picked up a wheel draw on the {3-Spades} turn. The {7-Spades} river was a brick, and Wolf doubled up.

Machado Gets Called with Rivered Boat

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

With a substantial pot already in the middle and a board reading {2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, Manuel Machado shoved all in from the big blind.

Cole Jackson, to his immediate left in early position, was studying the wet board while contemplating the shove. He asked for an exact count of Machado's stack, which was confirmed as 295,000. After about a minute of thinking, he chunked in a stack of chips to indiacte the call.

Machado gave the bad news to Jackson when flipped over the {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for the rivered boat and collected the big double up.

Wolf Eliminates Lee

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Richard Wolf shoved from the early position for 354,000 and Christopher Lee called from mid-position for the 300,000 or so he had behind. The rest of the table folded to let them battle it out.

Christopher Lee: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Richard Wolf: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

"We're racing!" Wolf commented when he saw Lee's cards.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for Wolf to hit top pair immediately.

The turn was another {k-Diamonds} for Wolf to improve to trips, only a nine could save Lee's tournament life but he bricked the river as the {2-Clubs} completed the board.

Fischer Sends Males Out to Sea

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Seth Fischer raised to 45,000 from early position, and Pete Males three-bet shoved for 186,000 next to act. Action folded back to Fischer, who paused for a moment before flicking a chip in the middle to call.

Pete Males: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Seth Fischer: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Fischer pulled in front on the {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop, but Males turned a gutshot with the {5-Diamonds} to give himself a few extra outs. He bricked off on the {3-Hearts} river, and Fischer scored the knockout.
