Big Stacks Battle

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Cory Albertson raised to 110,000 from middle position, and Joshua Turner three-bet to 330,000 from the hijack. Action folded back to Albertson, who gave it a bit of thought before four-betting to 1.1 million.

Turner paused briefly, then pushed his cards to the dealer, shipping the pot to Albertson.

Gil Triples Up

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Randy Gil shoved from under the gun for 395,000 and was called by Joao Simao in the early position and Carlos Alberto Alves De Lima in the hijack.

They both checked through the whole {k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} board.

"I might have this," Gil commented before turning over {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} for the flopped set of deuces.

It seemed that way as both Simao and Alves De Lima looked resigned. Simao tabled {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} while Alves De Lima held {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

Karamalikis Gets a Double With Trips

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Jonathan Karamalikis
Jonathan Karamalikis

From the big blind, Jonathan Karamalikis checked a {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop over to Charles Dolan on the button, who bet 140,000 into a pot of around 300,000. Karamalikis called.

Karamalikis checked the {8-Clubs} turn, and Dolan announced, "All in." Karamalikis snapped off his last 485,000.

Jonathan Karamalikis: {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Charles Dolan: {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

Karamalikis had Dolan drawing dead to the {9-Hearts} river, and Karamalikis doubled up, leaving Dolan with just 65,000.

Sleeth's Call Pays Off

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

From the button, Ashley Sleeth raised. Her raise was met by a shove from Andrew Hinrichsen in the big blind who had Sleeth covered.

Sleeth thought about it for a while before making the call, and she was ahead with her {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} leading the {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} of Hinrichsen.

The board would stay clean for Sleeth as it ran out {6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to give her a big double up out of Hunrichsen's now reduced stack.

Brown Gets One Through

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

A player limped in from middle position, and Michael Matrone raised to 175,000 next to act. Casey Brown called in the big blind, and the limper folded.

Both players checked the {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{a-Hearts} flop, and Brown bet 175,000 on the {q-Spades} turn. Matrone called.

Brown fired 315,000 on the {4-Diamonds} river, and Matrone folded. Brown showed his neighbor, then the table {7-Spades}{5-Spades} for a busted flush draw.

Tamasauskas Eliminates Koren with Turn Call

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

On a board reading {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{a-Spades}{k-Spades}, [Removed:174] bet 255,000 and was raised all in for just a smidgen over 800,000 by Artur Koren.

After a few moments of thought, The Lithuanian made the call. He was in good shape as his {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} was out-kicking the {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts} of Koren, whose tournament ended when the {2-Hearts} fell on the river.

Weissman Puts a Bad Beat on Kalajian

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Joey Weissman
Joey Weissman

Calvin Anderson raised to 115,000 from middle position, and Joey Weissman three-bet to 325,000 from the hijack. Armen Kalajian four-bet shoved for 565,000 in the cutoff, and after Anderson folded, Weissman called.

Armen Kalajian: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Joey Weissman: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Weissman was left looking for a jack to crack Kalajian's aces, and he bricked on both the {2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs} flop and {2-Spades} turn. Kalajian sighed when the {j-Hearts} river gave Weissman his two-outer, and he hit the rail.
