Battle of the Jacks

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

Michael Bennett opened with a raise to 1,200 from early position, Constance House called from middle position. Action folded around to Bruce Yamron who three-bet to 5,500 from the big blind and was called by Bennett.

Yamron fired out 12,000 on a flop of {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and Bennett folded his hand face-up {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}.

Yamron was kind enough to show Bennett that he also held the same hand as he tabled {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} before he raked in the pot.

Erika Weinstein: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Eric Nguyen: {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

Weinstein had Nguyen crushed and nothing changed after she flopped a set on {4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and she raked in the pot.

Field's Stack Gets Jacked Up

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

After a middle position raise to 1,000 and a flat call from the player to her right in seat 5, Bridgette Field then three-bet to 3,400, which got a fold from the original raiser and a call from the player in seat 5.

After check-calling a 3,600 bet from Field on the {3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop, the player also check-called the 7,300 bet on the {q-Spades} turn. Both players then checked the {7-Hearts} river and tabled their hands.

Field: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Seat 5: {3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Field took down the pot with her overpair, which got her back to over starting stack, while the other player was left short and eliminated on the next hand.

Tobin Makes Good Call, Wins With Ladies

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Action folded around the table to Stephen Hart who raised to 2,100 and he was called by Shaun Tobin from the cutoff. A flop of {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} came out and Hart bet out 3,000, Tobin called. Hart check-called Tobin's bet of 4,000 after the turn came the {5-Clubs} and the dealer put the {k-Spades} on the river.

Hart bet out 12,000 on the river and after thinking about his decision for roughly four minutes, Tobin called and tabled {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for the winning hand.

David Haye
David Haye

Just before the break former professional boxer David Haye lost a chunk of his stack to a player's {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} after flopping top pair and top kicker with the nut flush draw holding {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} on a board reading {9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Spades}.

After Haye check-called every street, both players then checked the river. The boxer, who has undergone almost a year of poker training for a promotion, has work to do if he's to climb the rankings in this Millionaire-making event.
