Park Doubles Through Schiff

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The player in the under-the-gun position raised to 11,000 and Daniel Park shoved for 75,500 from the hijack. Action folded to Emile Schiff in the big blind who also decided to shove with the bigger stack. The initial raiser folded, claiming to have the winning hand.

Daniel Park: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Emile Shiff: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts} for Park to flop the set to stay alive and double up.

"Guess I didn't have the winning hand," the initial raiser commented.

Obreshkov Can't Get Past Busquet

Stoyan Obreshkov

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and around 55,000 in the middle, the action was on Olivier Busquet in the cutoff. Busquet tossed in a bet of 27,000 and Stoyan Obreshkov called from the big blind.

The {j-Spades} landed on the river and Obreshkov moved all in for 69,500. Busquet asked for a count and pondered for a moment before making the call. Obreshkov tabled {j-Clubs}{10-Spades} while Busquet tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} for two pair to claim the pot.

"Good call," Obreshkov said as he wished the table good luck as well.

"I had a key card," Busquet replied showing off the {q-Spades}.

Walters Picks Up Aces Again

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Clyde Walters raised to 10,500 in early position and Chuanshu Chen ripped all in for 73,000 in the hijack. Martin Magal called from the blinds only to have Walter re-shove all in for 299,000. Magal asked for a count but elected to throw his cards to the muck.

Clyde Walters: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Chuanshu Chen: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The flop of {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} left Chen in a rough spot but the {10-Spades} on the turn gave him a straight draw. The {3-Hearts} on the river paired the board and Chen was eliminated from the tournament.

Fernandez Gets the Folds

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Rayan Chamas raised to 11,000 from mid-position and both Sergio Fernandez in the hijack and Paco Blanco in the cutoff made the call.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}, Chamas checked and Fernandez bet 16,000 which both Blanco and Chamas called.

The turn was the {k-Spades}, Chamas checked again and now Fernandez barreled in a bet of 60,000. Blanco quickly folded and so did Chamas in the end.

Kings in the Big Blind for Wongwichit

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Phachara Wongwichit
Phachara Wongwichit

Ryan Leng opened to 11,500 in middle position and was called by the hijack. Phachara Wongwichit shipped all in for around 75,000 in the big blind and Leng called while the hijack folded.

Phachara Wongwichit: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Ryan Leng: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Wongwichit held a commanding lead heading to the flop of {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. The {10-Spades} on the turn changed nothing and the {4-Spades} on the river ensured Wongwichit of a double up.
