Richard Bai: {x-}{x-} / {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Hearts} / {x-}

Ken Aldridge kept betting into two opponents after the action was checked to him and one of them was Richard Bai, who went all the way to seventh. Bai eventually check-folded to the final barrel and Aldridge scooped the pot to boost his stack without showdown.

Seiken Scoops Zaichenko

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Andrey Zaichenko
Andrey Zaichenko

Omaha Hi-Lo

Joining the action on the {8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, Nicholas Seiken check-raised into a bet by Andrey Zaichenko and a call by Frankie O'Dell. Both opponents called to see the {4-Spades} on the river and Seiken bet. Zaichenko called and O'Dell sent his cards into the muck.

Seiken showed the {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flush and an eight-seven low. Zaichenko shrugged, laughed and mucked {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{x-} for a set of fours and no low. Despite losing this pot, Zaichenko is among the bigger stacks in the room right now towards the end of level seven.

Razz

Layne Flack had been nursing a shorter stack for some time and eventually got it in against Ylon Schwartz.

"What, aces up are no good in Razz?" he said when the cards were already scooped up by the dealer.

"Thanks for that, or the misery would have continued further. Is there any other tournament that I can register right now?" Flack added.

Schwartz, in the meanwhile, scooped the pot with what appeeared to be a jack-nine and went back above the starting stack.

Foxen Still In It

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Kyle Miaso: {x-}{x-} / {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{k-Spades}{2-Clubs} / {x-}
Alex Foxen: {x-}{x-} / {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades} / {x-}
James Obst: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{a-Spades}{a-Clubs} / {x-}
Cary Katz: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{j-Spades} / {x-}

Alex Foxen was all in on third street with four callers and the fifth player in the hand folded on sixth with {3-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} showing. Kyle Miaso bet fourth to pick up three callers, while all remaining active players checked fifth. James Obst paired his ace on sixth and bet, which Katz and Miaso called. Seventh was checked again and Miaso showed {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a pair of aces with a king. Foxen tabled {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for a straight and Katz had {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} for a low.

Obst briefly flashed his cards and mucked, unable to win the high or low pot.

Hennigan and Baker Among Big Stacks

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

David "ODB" Baker: {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Sampo Ryynanen: {x-}{x-} / {k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} fold

David "ODB" Baker keeps adding chips to his growing tower and appears to be the current chip leader in level seven. Not far behind is defending champion John Hennigan.

Baker just won a pot against Sampo Ryynanen where both headed to fifth street. Baker had paired his six and his bet did the trick to force a fold.

Hennigan was also just involved in a Stud Hi-Lo hand in which he sent a short stack to the rail when he held a nine-high straight on the turn and his opponent only revealed a pair of aces.
