One Royal and Two Full Houses

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

On the three-way turn of {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, one bet each went into the middle between Brandon Shack-Harris, Christopher Claassen and Ron Ware and Shack-Harris also bet the {5-Clubs} on the river. Claassen raised and Ware made it three bets to force a fold from Shack-Harris. Claassen double-checked his cards high and folded, but Aron Dermer could see his cards.

Ware rolled over {q-Spades}{10-Spades} for a royal flush and Dermer said "one royal flush and two full houses, you won't see any better than this today."

Zinno on Fumes

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Anthony Zinno was already short-stacked heading into the latest hand and lost that one too to get into the danger zone. One bet each went in after the {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} turn with Kyle Montgomery also involved and the {q-Spades} river was checked. Zinno in the blinds was first to show and revealed {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, which Montgomery had beat with {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} for trips deuces.

Hastings Wins Battle of Short Stacks

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Hold'em

Chris Hunichen raised the button and Jared Bleznick three-bet out of the small blind. Brian Hastings made it four bets from the big blind and both called. The flop came {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Bleznick was the only one to check-call a bet by Hastings before check-folding the {2-Spades} turn.

All three remain well below the starting stack and Hastings has the most chips of the trio right now.

Schreiber and Yeh Chop; Ospina Takes From Bronstein

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

On the three-way turn of {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Spades}, Matthew Schreiber checked in the small blind and Jen Harman bet from the big blind, which Andrew Yeh called. The {5-} river was checked and Schreiber tabled {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} for the nut low and a pair. Harman flashed the {k-Hearts} for top pair, but mucked her remaining cards as soon as Yeh had shown {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades} for a pair of kings with ace kicker.

Soon after, still in Omaha Hi-Lo, Daniel Ospina rivered a full house with {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} on a board of {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and got value from big stack Noah Bronstein to chip up some.

Pots for Benyamine and Rosario

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Hold'em

David Benyamine raised first to act and was called by Sampo Ryynanen in the blinds. Ryynanen check-called a bet on the {k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, but quickly folded to a second bet on the {q-Spades} turn.

One table over, Shirley Rosario three-bet in the small blind and Richard Bai in late position made the call. Rosario immediately bet the {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop and that was all it took to force a fold from Bai.
