Clarke Brings an End to Suriano

Level 31 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Davide Suriano pushed all in for 1,900,0000 in early position and the action folded around to Patrick Clarke in the big blind. Clarke instantly called and had Suriano dominated heading to the flop.

Patrick Clarke: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Davide Suriano: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The flop came {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} to give Suriano some chop outs. The {k-Clubs} on the turn left Suriano only cheering for a chop but the {4-Clubs} on the river eliminated Suriano from the tournament.

Joseph Cheong
Joseph Cheong

The action folded around to Jimmy Guerrero in the small blind who shipped all in for his last 1,200,000 chips. Joseph Cheong looked down at his cards in the big blind and made a quick call to put Guerrero at risk.

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Three players saw a flop of {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and the action checked around to the {q-Spades} on the turn. Joshua Vanduyn checked again from the small blind and Ido Ashkenazi fired out a bet of 350,000 in the big blind. The hijack folded and Vanduyn called.

The river was the {8-Clubs} and Vanduyn checked again. Ashkenazi quickly splashed in another bet of 630,000 and Vanduyn struggled to let his hand go. "I think my hand is too good to fold." He pondered for a few more seconds, "Ahh, I won't waste your time," he said as he plopped some chips into the middle.

Ashkenazi turned over {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for two pair and Vanduyn flicked his cards to the muck.
