Margolin Lays One Down

Timur Margolin and Patrick Clarke were heads-up in a pot that already had around 900,000 in the middle. The board read {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Margolin checked to Clarke who bet 550,000. Margolin called and the {8-Spades} completed the board.

Margolin checked again and Clarke counted out a bet of 1,750,000. Margolin went into the tank for about three minutes before finally spinning his cards to the muck.

Jimmy Guerrero raised it up from middle position and was called by Edgardo Rosario on the button and Michael Farrow in the big blind. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and all three players checked to the {6-Clubs} on the turn.

Farrow led out for 675,000 and Guerrero called while Rosario got out of the way. The river was the {2-Diamonds} and Farrow moved all in for 3,300,000. Guerrero thought for a moment but decided to lay his hand down.

Ashkenazi Eliminates Ziskin

Ido Ashkenazi raised to 235,000 under the gun and Alexander Ziskin three-bet to 700,000 from the small blind. Ashkenazi stuck around with a call.

A flop reading {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} was dealt and Ziskin fired 400,000. Ashkenazi raised to 900,000 and Zikskin responded by moving all in. Ashkenazi made the call and the players' hands were tabled.
