Huge Pot Goes to Ivers

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

David Ivers opened to 50,000 in middle position and Ryan Jaconetti three-bet to 150,000 in the cutoff. Jong Kim thought for a minute from the blinds before shoving all in, having both players covered. Ivers stuck in the last of his 682,000 chips and Jaconetti folded {a-Spades}{k-Spades} face up.

David Ivers: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Jong Kim: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} to give Ivers a set of aces and Kim was drawing nearly dead. The {5-Clubs} on the turn sealed the deal and the {6-Spades} quickly hit the river as Ivers more than doubled up.

Park Scores a Double KO

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Daniel Park opened to 48,000 from early position and Wojciech Barzantny three-bet shoved all in for 433,000 in the hijack. Felipe Ramos was in the small blind and pushed the last of his 650,000 chips in the middle as well. Park called and had both players covered.

Daniel Park: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Felipe Ramos: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Wojciech Barzantny: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The flop came {9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} to give Barzantny a set of nines. However, the {q-Spades} on the turn improved Park to a set of queens and he held on through the {7-Spades} river to eliminate both Ramos and Barzantny.

Noam Hangs On for a Double Up

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Robert Schmidt opened to 50,000 from under the gun and Danny Noam shoved all in for 224,000 in middle position. The action folded back to Schmidt who made a quick call with a big stack of chips in front of him.

Danny Noam: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Robert Schmidt: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Schmidt flopped a flush draw for some outs. The {9-Spades} on the turn also gave him a straight draw but the {k-Spades} on the river bricked all of it. Noam's aces held on for a double to keep his tournament life alive.

Ebrahimi Folds to Cutler's Shove

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

On a flop reading {7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Sepher Ebrahimi checked from the small blind and Alan Cutler, in the hijack bet 75,000. Ebrahimi called.

The turn brought the {4-Spades} and Ebrahimi, first to act, went deep into the tank. Eventually Cutler called the clock on him. Within a few seconds left on the clock, Ebrahimi checked. Cutler quickly moved all in for about 1,400,000.

"I don't need a clock this time. I went all in. This part of the hand is easy my decision is over with. But you might stick around as it may take five minutes," Cutler told the floor.

Ibrahimi took a couple of minutes reflecions and Cutler called the clock on him once more. The floor started the countdown once more.

"The longer they take, the more comfortable I feel," commented Cutler. Ebrahimi let it go.
