Guay Climbs Over Two Million

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

David Guay raised to 50,000 in the cutoff and Matt Iles defended from the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {3-Hearts} on the turn.

Iles checked again and Guay tossed in a bet of 45,000. Iles check-raised to 140,000 but Guay stuck around to see the {4-Clubs} on the river. Both players quickly knuckled the table and Guay turned over {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for the best hand.

Ace-High is Good for Buonocore

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

On a flop reading {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, Steven Filipovic bet 32,000 from the small blind, Dong Guo folded in the big blind and Andrea Buonocore called from mid-poisiton.

The turn brought the {3-Clubs} and Filipovic continued with another bet of 105,000 that Buonocore called once more.

The {10-Spades} filled up the river and both players checked. Buonocore tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for ace-high and Filipovic threw his hand in the muck.
