Bicknell Advances to Round 2 After Eliminating Ruivo

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Kristen Bicknell
Kristen Bicknell

On a flop reading {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, Kristen Bicknell fired 8,500 from the big blind and Manuel Ruivo called on the button.

The turn was the {4-Spades} and Bicknell fired another bet of 14,500 that Ruivo called once more.

The {3-Hearts} filled up the river and Bicknell moved all in for about 46,000. Ruivo snap-called tabling {a-Spades}{5-Spades} for a wheel but that wasn't good enough as Bicknell revealed {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for fours full of threes to win the pot, eliminating Ruivo and advancing to the next round.

Del Vecchio Finished Too

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Mike Del Vecchio has also made it through after it all went in on the {3-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop while he held {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Jesse McGinty had {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for the flopped top pair but was behind against Del Vecchio's flush.

The rest of the board was completed with the {7-Spades} on the turn to give McGinty two pair but he bricked the river when the {a-Spades} came to complete the board. They shook hands while Del Vecchio's small denomination chips were getting raced off before they could be bagged.

Seven-High No Good

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, Martin Zamani checked from the big blind and Michael Song bet 1,000 on the button. Zamani check-raised to 2,000 and Song called.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Zamani threw in a bet of 1,000 that Song called again.

The {8-Clubs} completed the board and Zamani checked. Song bet 1,000 and Zamani took a minute of reflection.

"I have seven-high...Could seven-high be good? It could be right?"

"Tell the blog I called with seven-high,'' Zamani told the Live Reporting team while throwing in a chip in the middle only to see Song's {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

"Don't tell the blog I called with seven-high!" he added jokingly.
