Pateychuk Bags Up

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Andrey Pateychuk limped in on the button with {a-}{5-} (suited) and his opponent opted to check.

The flop came {a-}{8-}{6-} with two hearts and a club. Pateychuk bet 1,000 which his opponent check-called.

The turn was the {q-Clubs}, his opponent checked again, Pateychuk bet 5,000 which sent his opponent into the tank. After a few minutes, he decided to shove for just under 20,000 and Pateychuk quickly called. His opponent held {8-Spades}{5-Spades} for the pair of eights.

The river was nothing that endangered Pateychuk's victory on his first table in the shootout.

Hitt Takes Out Davies to Progress

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The board read {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Seth Davies bet 12,000 which Donald Hitt called on the button while they were heads-up.

The river completed the board with the {6-Hearts}, Davies barreled another bet of 12,000 over the line and Hitt shoved for 37,300. When Davies confirmed the amount, he tanked for a while but ended up calling. Hitt tabled {4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for the rivered straight and that was enough to double up, leaving Davies behind with around 25,000.

Shortly after, Davies was seen leaving the tournament area after he lost his last chips with {3-}{3-} against the {a-}{6-} of Hitt who managed to pair the six up on the board.
