Chong Makes Good Call, Eliminates Jarman

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With a pot of 30,000 on a board reading {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, Robert Jarman moved all in for his remaining 60,000 after Wes Chong led out with a 12,000 bet. After some thinking, Chong put his chips in for the call.

Wes Chong: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Robert Jarman: {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

With one card left to come, Chong was in the lead with top pair, though Jarman was drawing extremely live.

The river was a brick as it fell the {a-Diamonds} and Jarman was eliminated from the tournament.

Clause Chips Up Before the Bubble

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player opened to 7,000 before a second moved all in for 9,400. Don Clause cold-called in the small blind, and the iniital raiser also called.

The pair checked the {j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop and Clause bet 10,000 on the {q-Spades} turn, forcing his opponent out.

Don Clause: {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
All-in Player: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The all-in player had outs to stay alive but the {8-Clubs} was a brick and he was eliminated.

The tournament clock shows 459 players remaining with 398 paid.

Barry Greenstein

Barry Greenstein came into the day with around 60,000 in chips and was holding steady over the course of the first three levels. However, his seat is now empty.

The three-time bracelet winner has three WSOP cashes this year, including a 14th place in the $1,500 Seven Card Stud and a 57th place finish in the Seniors Event.

Reiner's Claim to Fame

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

James Woods got his remaining stack in the middle and found a caller from Michael Reiner.

James Woods: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Michael Reiner: {q-}{q-}

Woods was trailing the pocket queens of Reiner but turned a gutterball straight that just couldn't get there as the board ran out {7-}{6-}{4-}{5-}{6-} and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Ma Doubles Through Fowleks

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Tony Ma open-jammed from the cutoff for 17,400 and he was called by Richard Fowlkes from the big blind.

Tony Ma: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Richard Fowlkes: {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

Ma was ahead but the {8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} gave Fowlkes the nut flush draw.

The {7-Spades} fell on the turn and add more outs to Fowlkes hand as he could win with a flush or straight.

The river was a brick as it came the {9-Hearts} and Ma got a much needed double in hopes to capture his third WSOP gold bracelet.

Lockwood Closing in on 200,000

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

With the chip leaders hovering around 400,000, several players are beginning to make moves.

Peter Lockwood bet 8,000 on a {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop and an opponent raised on the button to 20,000. Lockwood took his time before calling.

The pair both checked the {8-Hearts}{a-Clubs} runout and Lockwood turned over {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. His opponent double-checked his hole cards before mucking and Lockwood took down the pot.

Earlier this year Lockwood finished third in the $1,700 WSOP Circuit Main Event here at the Rio in February for $125,103 and will be eyeing another deep run in the Super Seniors event.

Alan Lewis: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Bruce Vandervort: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Lewis was drawing the world and didn't have to sweat as the turn came the {9-Spades} and he got a very nice double up after the {3-Clubs} fell on the river.

2015 WSOP November Niner Neil Blumenfeld is still in the Super Seniors just over 100 places off the money.

He opened to 5,100 and called a three-bet from an opponent to 10,200. The flop came {j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} but he check-folded to a continuation bet.
