Corcoran Squeezes Preflop

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Two players limped in and Jon Corcoran was in the small blind, he raised to 5,100 and the player who originally limped under-the-gun called, while everyone else folded behind him.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, Corcoran check-raised to 14,200 and his opponent's cards instantly hit the muck.

Abdelhadi's Aces-Up Good Enough

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ahmad Abdelhadi raised to 2,600, Ysoef Vogel then three-bet to 6,300, and with action back on Vogel, he made the call. Abdelhadi then check-called the 5,000 continuation bet from Vogel on the {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} flop. After both players checked the {a-Hearts} turn, Abdelhadi then checked again on the {j-Clubs} flop. Vogel then slid out a bet of 14,000, which sent Abdelhadi into the tank for about 30 seconds before he made the call and tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} at the same time Vogel was about to table his hand. Apparently Abdelhadi's hand was good enough because Vogel sent his cards to the muck.

Steede Rivers Better Two Pair

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Action picked up on the flop, but preflop action replayed by Jake Steede.

Jake Steede raised to 2,700 from under-the-gun and was called by five players, including the player in the big blind. After the big-blind player checked the {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop, Steede continued for 8,000 and got a call from the player on the button. The player in the big blind then check-raised all in, and after some thought, Steede made the call, which got a fold from the player on the button.

Big-Blind Player: {9-Spades}{4-Spades}
Jake Steede: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The player in the big blind had flopped top two pair to Steede's overpair and needed his hand to hold, which it did on the {8-Diamonds} turn. Unfortunately that was followed by the {8-Diamonds} on the river, which counterfeited the big-blind player's flopped two pair and sent him to the rail just before the last break of the day.

Action picked up on the river on a board reading {4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}.

Fabio Miranda, from his blind, had put out a bet of 10,500, only to be raised to 35,000 by the other player in the hand, Kevin Racks. After tanking for over a minute, asking Racks if he had kings, and then re-checking his cards twice, Miranda showed the {5-Diamonds} before finally mucking his hand.

Bell's Kings Hold to Eliminate Opponent

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Cody Bell got all his chips in the middle preflop from under-the-gun versus a player in middle position.

Cody Bell: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Opponent: {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The flop gave his opponent some hope when it came {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, giving him a pair of queens. The {9-Diamonds} landed on the turn giving Bell more of a sweat as his opponent picked him a gut-shot straight draw. The river was the {7-Hearts} though which was a complete brick, and Bell eliminated his opponent from the tournament.
