Christoforou Arrests Slide

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

"I need this," said Andrew Christoforou. "I've been on a bad run. A 100,000 in three hands run."

He called a pre-flop bet from a single opponent and the {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop was checked to him. He bet 6,000 and his opponent called.

His opponent check-called another bet on the {3-Diamonds} turn this time for 8,000. Both players checked the {j-Spades} river.

"One pair," said Christoforou showing {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. It was good and he took down the pot chipping up to 200,000.

Brown Eliminates Opponent

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player from early position open-jammed for 10,000 and was called by Camille Brown on the button.

Camille Brown: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Both players missed the {q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop and Brown was still ahead with ace high.

The turn came the {8-Clubs} and Brown just needed to dodge a jack heading to the river.

The river would pair Browns ace as it fell the {a-Spades} and she eliminated her opponent.

Schedule Adjusted

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Tournament officials have announced that the schedule for Day 1a has been adjusted.

Instead of the 16 levels as previously announced, the tournament will now play down to the money. 786 players will be in the money with a min-cash worth $600.

If the money is reached before the end of Level 16, then the tournament will bag up at the end of Level 16.

Vu's All In Turn Bet Wins Pot

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The under-the-gun player opened for 6,500 and Na Vu called from late position. Action folded to the button player who three-bet to 17,000, the UTG player folded and Vu called.

Both players checked the {7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop.

The {10-Clubs} came on the turn and Vu jammed from 31,000 and that was enough to get his opponent to fold.

On a {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades} board Guillermo Bonilla bet 6,000 and Fernando Pons called. The river was the {3-Clubs} and Bonilla bet 20,000.

The former November Niner who finished ninth in the 2016 WSOP Main Event for $1,000,000 then raised to 58,000.

Bonilla shoved all in and Pons flicked in a single chip to call. Bonilla showed {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} for a full house, beating the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} full house of Pons who was eliminated
