Alexandru Papazian raised to 24,000 with a 13-big blind stack and Tommy Nguyen called from the big blind.

But Bohlman took down the two following hands to bounce back into contention.
The first hand started with Kevin Gerhart opening to 24,000 in middle position. Bohlman called on his left, putting in his last 18,000. Haixia Zhang raised to 72,000 from the small blind, getting rid of Gerhart. Bohlman was ahead with against , and he more than quadrupled when the board rolled out.
On the next hand, Bohlman open-shoved his 78,000 and Andreas Klatt called in the big blind. Bohlman had a worse starting hand this time, but his pulled ahead of on the flop. The rest of the board ran out and and Bohlman doubled again.
Shankar Pillai raised to 23,000 from early position and it folded to James Mackey who called from the big blind.
Mackey check-called 20,000 on and both checked the turn.
The river came down and Mackey checked again. Pillai announced an all-in bet for an effective 180,000. Mackey took a minute to figure out whether to risk his tournament life and the conclusion was a fold.
