Townsend Shoves the River with King High

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

On a board of {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} with roughly 30,000 in the middle, the cutoff checked, and Dale Townsend shoved all in from the button for 31,800.

The cutoff deliberated for several minutes before eventually deciding to fold her {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} face-up.

Townsend scooped in the pot, and then tabled his {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for a king-high bluff.

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

A player raised to 1,300 from middle position, and the small blind called. Nick Pupillo three-bet to 5,200 in the big blind. Only the middle position player called.

Pupillo bet 4,500 on the {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Spades} flop, and his opponent called.

Both players checked down the {a-Diamonds} turn and {7-Clubs} river, and Pupillo tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. His opponent mucked.

Kwan tanked for a while, holding a 25,000-denomination chip in his hand. He kept squeezing it, shaking his head while studying the board. Then he opted to fold and leave himself with 31,100.

Glaser Folds Aces

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

A player raised from the under-the-gun position to 1,900 and Benny Glaser three-bet from middle position to 5,200. All the other players folded but the initial raiser stuck around.

The flop fell {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and both players checked. The initial raiser took the betting initiative again on the {k-Clubs} turn with a 5,000 bet and Glaser called.

The {j-Hearts} completed the board and a bet of 11,700 was made. Glaser quickly folded his {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}.

Over the Top From Iachan

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Action was picked up on a board that read {6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts} where it appeared as though Steven Tabb was deep in the tank for a bigtime decision. Daniel Iachan had bet 10,000 on the river and Tabb had raised to 41,000 to which Iachan came over the top and moved all in.

The decision was for Tabb's tournament life as Iachan had his remaining stack of roughly 49,000 covered. After hemming and hawing for over two minutes, Tabb gave it up and Iachan stacked the big pot through the power of his river three-bet.
