Tan Doubles Through Drilon With Ladies

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jose Drilon opened for 2,900 from late position and Longsheng Tan three-bet to 7,600 sitting directly to his left. Action was on the button player who called and action folded back to Drilon who jammed and was called by Tan for less. The button player tanked for a few minutes before mucking his hand and stated, "I folded eights".

Jose Drilon: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Longsheng Tan: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Tan was ahead and it stayed that way as Drilon couldn't connect with one of his overs as the board ran out {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Drilon shipped 36,600 over to Tan.

Eychenne More Than Doubles

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The player in middle position raised to 2,500 and the hijack called. Thomas Eychenne three-bet to 9,000 from the cutoff and the player on the button called. The player in mid-position added the remainder to call as well and the hijack folded.

A flop reading {10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} was dealt and action checked to Eychenne who moved all in for 26,500. The player on the button was the only caller.

Thomas Eychenne: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

Eychenne's opponent had flopped a flush draw but the {6-Spades} turn and {7-Spades} river filled up the board and Eychenne claimed the pot with ace-high and a better kicker than his opponent.

Smith Shoves on Chan

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Johnny Chan raised to 25,000 from the button and the player in the small blind folded before Elliot Smith in the big blind three-bet to 11,000.

Chan quickly four-bet to 25,000 and the small blind player folded. With the action back on Smith, he collected up his chips and moved all in for 70,300.

Chan was sat with 88,000 behind and went into the tank. The two-time WSOP Main Event champion seemingly had a tough decision on his hand and thought for close to 90 seconds before he checked his holding for the final time and mucked his cards.
