Romaine Barrels Out Barton

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Gregoire Auzoux raised from the cutoff to 175,000 and William Romaine on the button three-bet to 385,000. The small blind tanked for more than three minutes and folded, while Christopher Barton in the big blind asked to see the stack of Romaine and called. Auzoux folded and they went heads up to the {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop.

Barton quickly checked and Romaine made it 420,000 to go, which resulted in an instant call by Barton. After the {k-Clubs} turn, Barton checked again and Romaine fired a second barrel of 880,000, which did the trick and forced a fold from Barton.

Graham Wins Three-Bet Pot on Flop

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Both Luke Graham and Kevin Maahs have been chipping up under the radar as the two just played a pot with stacks considerably deeper than the tournament average.

Maahs opened to 180,000 from the cutoff and Graham three-bet to 330,000. The players in the blinds folded and Maahs called.

The flop came {2-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Maahs checked. Graham continued, betting 400,000. Maahs took a few seconds and then decisively let go of his hand as the pot was shipped Graham's way.

Ajayi Finds a Big Fold

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

After an under-the-gun open to 160,000 and a call from the next player, Michael Niwinski made it 700,000 in the cutoff. The next player went deep into the tank, sitting back with arms crossed. After several minutes, another player reached over and pointed at him.

"You know it's on you, right?" he said.

Jarred from his daze, the player said he had no idea and folded immediately, much to everyone's amusement.

In the small blind, Adedapo Ajayi then tanked awhile, counted out his stack, and verbalized a fold while keeping his cards. He whipped out his phone and took a pic while the others folded, then showed everyone his {10-}{10-} after Niwinski flashed {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} before mucking.

Yoon Runs Top Pair Into Su's Aces

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Brian Yoon
Brian Yoon

Brian Yoon and Timothy Su were heads-up in a pot with the flop reading {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. The two players got all of their chips in the middle with Yoon being at risk for around 2,000,000.

Timothy Su: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Brian Yoon: {k-}{q-}

Su was once again in the driver's seat just like he has been for much of the day. The {10-Clubs} on the turn left Yoon drawing to just five outs and the {10-Spades} on the river was not one of them. Yoon headed for the payout desk while Su stacked more chips to increase his lead.

Spade Freezes Everyone

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Alex Foxen was in the cutoff and bet 225,000 on {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}. Enrico Rudelitz called on his left and big blind David Vedral came along as well to a {7-Spades} river. Action checked through and Vedral tossed in {k-}{8-}. Foxen didn't turn over anything better, so Rudelitz revealed {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for a set.

Three Monster Hands Results in a Double Up for Au

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Steven Au opened to 175,000 in middle position and Alan Goehring just called in the cutoff. Carl Shaw three-bet to 650,000 on the button and the blinds folded. Au four-bet to 1,500,000 only to have Goehring announce all in. Shaw stood up from his chair and had a big decision to make and it took him over two minutes to finally fold. Au flicked in a chip to call off his stack of 3,010,000 and the cards were tabled.

Steven Au: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Alan Goehring: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Au's aces held on for a big double up. Once the hand was completed and the table was done guessing Shaw's hand, he finally admitted that he folded ace-king.
