Mike Sowers

On the first hand, Mike Sowers managed to double for last 140,000 through Qing Liu, holding {q-Spades}{5-Spades}. Liu had the best hand with {q-Clubs}{j-Spades} but the board brought {8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}, giving a flush to Sowers and the double up.

A few moments later Sowers pushed all in for 300,000 with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and got paid by Daniel Strelitz with {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for a flip situation.

The board revealed {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, improving Strelitz's hand into a pair of queens while Sowers made his way to the payout desk.
