Stud Hi-Lo

Chris Brewer: {x-}{x-} / {6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} / {x-}
Dan Cates: {x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Diamonds} / {x-}

Chris Brewer completed and Dan Cates called. Brewer checked fourth and fifth street and called a bet from Cates on both.

On sixth street, Brewer bet and Cates called.

On seventh street, Brewer checked and Cates bet. Brewer called and mucked as Cates turned over {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades} for an eight-low and a pair of jacks to scoop the entire pot.

Limit Hold'em

A pair of Limit Hold'em pots to start the final table have taken a chunk out of Dan Cates' stack.

With several bets in the middle already, Eli Elezra bet a river board of {4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}.

Cates called and saw Elezra turn over {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for two pair.

Shortly after, Cates lost another small Limit Hold'em pot to Ryan Leng, which took another couple hundred thousand off his stack, dropping him below 2.5 million.

Limit Hold'em

With {j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{8-Spades} on the board, Nick Schulman got the last of around 200,000 chips in against Chris Brewer. Brewer called and turned over {10-Spades}{9-Clubs} for the straight. Schulman had {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for queens and eights.

Schulman needed a queen or an eight but the river was {9-Diamonds} and Brewer's straight held. Schulman hit the rail in eighth place for $106,120.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Ryan Leng opened to 65,000 from under-the-gun and action folded to Daniel Negreanu on the button, who announced, "Pot," for a 225,000 raise. It was folded back to Leng, who called.

Leng bet enough to put Negreanu all in for his remaining chips on the {j-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop and Negreanu called.

Daniel Negreanu: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Ryan Leng: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Negreanu was in rough shape against Leng's top set and the {9-Clubs} turn and {4-Diamonds} river failed to improve Negreanu — eliminating him in ninth place.

Brewer Doubles Through Leng

Level 19 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Ryan Leng raised to 100,000 and Dan Cates called from the next seat over. Chris Brewer three-bet to 425,000 from the big blind and Leng called. Cates folded.

"I'm probably not folding after the flop," said Brewer to Leng.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Brewer shoved for around 275,000. Leng called without much hesitation.

Chris Brewer: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Ryan Leng: {k-Spades}{8-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The turn {3-Clubs} and river {4-Spades} were no help for Leng and Brewer doubled through with kings and threes.
