Everyone Has a King, Melius' is Best

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Barth Melius was all in for 51,500, Adrian Mateos re-shoved, and Kasey Thompson called for his last 111,000.

Barth Melius: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Kasey Thompson: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Adrian Mateos: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Thompson got a brief glimmer of hope when the {q-Diamonds} appeared in the window, but it was followed by the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} to give Melius top two pair. Mateos had a straight draw, but neither he nor Thompson connected with the {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} turn and river. Melius tripled up, while Thompson doubled through Mateos in the side pot.
