Davies Flops Two Pair to Double Through Mateos

Level 12 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Seth Davies raised to 90,000 on the button and Adrian Mateos re-raised to 360,000 in the big blind. Davies called and the dealer fanned the flop of {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Mateos led out with a bet of 285,000 and Davies called.

The turn brought the {4-Spades} and Mateos jammed all in which was met with a snap-call from Davies for his last 1,350,000. Mateos showed {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} but Davies flopped two pair with {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}.

The river was the {3-Spades} which did not improve Mateos who passed over a double up.

Tilston Finds a Double Up

Level 12 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Keith Tilston raised it up on the button and Justin Bonomo three-bet from the big blind. The two players wasted little time before getting all of their chips in the middle with Tilston at risk for 1,035,000.

Keith Tilston: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Justin Bonomo: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades} to give Tilston a set of kings but Bonomo picked up more outs with a straight draw. However, the {3-Clubs} paired the board on the turn to give Tilston a full house and Bonomo was drawing dead to the {4-Spades} on the river.

Patel Bullies Mateos

Level 11 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Nilesh Patel raised it up from under the gun and was called by Adrian Mateos in the big blind. The flop fell {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Mateos checked to Patel who continued for 30,000. Mateos check-raised to 110,000 but Patel splashed in a re-raise to 530,000 which Mateos called.
