Ziegelbecker Bets Out Opponent

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

The board read {2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. Oswin Ziegelbecker verbalized a bet of 9,000 into a pot of about 16,000.

His opponent, Alan Wentz seemed confused by the bet amount and took a while to confirm it before eventually folding his hand to send the pot over to Ziegelbecker.

Downs Takes One Down

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

With a completed board of {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and about 8,000 in the pot, Robert Downs was facing a bet of 4,500 from Dylan Weisman. He thought about it and called.

"Queens," Weisman said.

Downs showed {k-Spades}{4-Spades} to take the early pot.

Fitzpatrick Takes Down Sizable Pot

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

With a board showing {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, there was about 10,000 already in the middle and Richard Geyer III lead out for 3,300. Jeremiah Fitzpatrick raised to 12,000 putting Geyer III to a decision. Eventually Geyer III opted to throw his hand into the muck surrendering the pot to Fitzpatrick.

Early Pot for Kurtzman

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Eric Kurtzman came prepared for the day and took a massage right away. He was then involved in a four-way pot to the {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop on which he led for 2,100 out of the big blind. Only Francisco Fragoso called and they checked the {q-Hearts} on the turn. Kurtzman bet again for 4,000 on the {q-Hearts} river and Fragoso folded the {k-Spades} face-up.

"Good fold," Kurtzman said to which Fragoso inquired if he had been up against a flush. Kurtzman nodded as he raked in the pot.
