Eric Stamey raised to 500 from under the gun. The player next to act three-bet to 1,500. The action folded to the player in the cutoff who called the three-bet. The player in the big blind called as well.

Stamey then four-bet to 3,500. The player in early position folded but he got a call from both the players in the cutoff and big blind.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}. Stamey made a continuation bet of 5,000, both of his opponents folded. He took down a relatively large pot early in the day.

Koon raised to 800 from the button and a player in the small blind three-bet to 1,800. Koon called and the flop was {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}.

Both players checked the flop and the turn was {q-Spades}. The player in the small blind fired 2,100 and Koon flat-called.

The river was {9-Spades} and both players checked. Koon turned over {a-Spades}{3-Spades} to take the pot while his opponent mucked {a-}{k-}.

1983 WSOP Main Event champion Tom McEvoy was spotted in action as the flop read {7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Alexander Ferrara bet 10,000 into two opponents into a pot of about 25,000. The first opponent folded, Tom McEvoy the shoved all in for about 37,000.

Ferrara checked his cards a few times before folding and McEvoy took down the pot via the aggression.
