Matt Affleck
Matt Affleck

The hijack player opened for 500 and was called by the small blind before Matt Affleck three-bet to 2,500 from the big blind.

Only the hijack called and action went heads-up to the {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop.

Affleck continued for 1,000 and that was all it took for him to take down the pot after his opponent quickly folded.

The {a-Diamonds} turn brought two pair on the board and this time the cutoff check-raised to 3,600 a bet worth 1,600 from Laplante, who quickly called.

A {3-Clubs} hit the river and it was checked to Laplante who bet 2,200. The cutoff snap-folded and Laplante added the chips to his stack.

Desantis Shows a Deuce, Talbot Folds

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Laura Desantis opened from late position to 500 and action folded to Andy Talbot in the big blind, who made the call. The flop came {3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Talbot checked to his opponent, who fired out a continuation bet of 500.

Talbot went for a check-raise to 1,200 and Desantis called. The turn was the {5-Spades}, and Talbot bet out this time for 2,000 and received a call. When the {2-Diamonds} turned over on the river, putting three diamonds on the board, Talbot checked and Desantis bet 6,000. Talbot pondered his decision for a moment before folding.

Desantis showed the {2-Spades}.
