Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
David Benyamine
David Benyamine

Action was recapped by the table as Benyamine's seat was empty.

Joe Cook opened to 1,300 and from two seats over, David Benyamine reraised to 4,500. Action folded back around to Cook who four-bet to 12,000, which Benyamine called.

The flop came out {k-}{9-}{3-}, Cook went all in, and Benyamine called.

David Benyamine: {a-}{k-}
Joe Cook: {a-}{a-}

The turn and river brought no help to Benyamine and he saw his Main Event come to an end.

Phan Pays One Off

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

A completed board of {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Hearts} was spread across the table with around 15,000 in the middle. John Phan checked from the big blind and his opponent tossed in a bet of 9,300.

Phan went into the tank for a minute, playing with his chips before finally splashing in the chips to call. His opponent whipped over {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} for trip queens and Phan sent his cards to the muck.

Back and Forth between Grondin and Zoughari

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Moundir Zoughari
Moundir Zoughari

On the first hand, the flop showed {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} in a three-way pot when Laurence Grondin bet and only Moundi Zoughari called. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and Grondin sent another bet worth 8,000. This time Zoughari folded.

The hand right after, Grondin raised to 1,600 and called a three-bet from Zoughari for 5,100 in the hijack.

The flop brought {q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{k-Spades} and Grondin check-called Zoughari's continuation for 4,200. The same action happened on the {6-Diamonds} turn, this time for 8,400.

When the {j-Hearts} hit the river, Grondin checked one last time. Zoughari fired 40,000 and Grondin didn't take long to muck his hand.

Hess Calls with One Pair

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

In a three-bet pot, James Hess was heads-up with the player on his left. The flop came {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades} and Hess checked to his opponent who bet 3,500 into a pot of around 8,000. Hess called and the {6-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Hess quickly checked and his opponent fired out another bet of 8,000. Hess still called and the {4-Spades} completed the board. Hess checked for the third time and his opponent bet 18,000. Hess thought for a minute before flicking in a call. His opponent turned over a bluff and Hess showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks to take the pot.
