Kwak Meets the Plumber

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Kevin Kwak was in position in a heads-up pot against Gilbert Acuna on a board reading {2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

Acuna checked and called a flop bet of 10,000 from Kwak, and both players then checked the {10-Diamonds} turn.

The river brought the {a-Clubs} and Acuna led into his opponent with a bet of 15,000. Kwak quickly called and then mucked when he saw the {5-Spades}{4-Spades} of Acuna, who is owner of Gilbert Acuna Plumbing in California.

"You're playing with the plumber!" Acuna said as he took in the pot.

Nosack Cracks Cornell's Queens

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

With about 17,000 in the middle the flop was {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Tyler Cornell bet 4,000 into Jayson Nosack who made the call.

The {6-Spades} hit the turn and Cornell fired out a bet of 10,000 and Nosack snap-called.

When the {9-Clubs} landed on the river both players checked and Cornell tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}, which was no good against Nosack's {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}.

Masone Doubles Up with Kings Versus Aces

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

The board read {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} with Robert Masone being pushed a monster pot as his opponent stared at the board in disbelief.

It was the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} held by Masone that had out-flopped the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} held by his opponent, and the latter took a stroll towards the exit, while Masone raked in a monster.
