Mizrachi Picks Up a Strong Hand This Time

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi three-bet to 12,600 preflop from the button and got two callers, one in middle position and another in the hijack. The flop came {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades} and the player in middle position open-shoved for around 40,000.

The hijack quickly folded, but Mizrachi called just as fast. The all-in player showed {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} but Mizrachi had the goods this time with {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Mizrachi picked up the knockout.

"I could have 7-2 there, they don't know," Mizrachi said while stacking up the chips.

Hachem Doubles a Shorty, Takes a Lap

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Joe Hachem
Joe Hachem

Joe Hachem opened, a player shoved for 34,000 and Hachem made the call with the bigger stack.

All-in Player: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Joe Hachem: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Hachem didn't like his odds as he didn't even watch the runout. Instead, he took a lap around the orange section and came back to find his stack a bit shorter after the {k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} hit the board.

Trips for Jaskiewicz

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

In a heads-up battle and a pot brewed of roughly 57,000, the action checked to Jaroslaw Jaskiewicz on the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} board. He tossed in a bet of 22,700 and his opponent dove deep into the think tank before throwing in a green chip to make the call. Jaskiewicz tabled {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for trip kings and the opponent quickly mucked his hand.

Moneymaker Cracks Aces for Massive Pot

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Chris Moneymaker
Chris Moneymaker

(Hand took place during 800/1,600 blind levels on the PokerGO stream, which is on a 45-minute delay)

On the side feature table, Chris Moneymaker was caught in a hand with {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} against an opponent's {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} on a flop of {2-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. His opponent bet out 15,000 into a pot of 25,400 and the 2003 world champion slow-played and just called.

The turn was a nice clean {3-Spades} for Moneymaker, who faced a bet of 42,000 and then jammed for 129,000. His opponent took a bit of time before inevitably deciding on a call.

The river was the {j-Diamonds}, giving Moneymaker a 313,800-chip pot and the former champ is now a force in the 2021 World Series of Poker Main Event on Day 2.

Glantz Keeps Betting

Level 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Action folded around to the blinds, where Matt Glantz called from the small. The big blind checked his option.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Glantz bet 2,000. His opponent called.

Glantz bet again for 3,000 on the {8-Hearts} turn and his opponent again called.

The {q-Spades} completed the board and Glantz bet a final time for 5,500. This time his opponent folded and Glantz took one last peek at his cards before collecting the pot.
