Aaron Hernandez

The action escalated on a three-way flop of {q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades} with Florian Duta and Aaron Hernandez both at risk against Angel Garcia.

Florian Duta: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Aaron Hernandez: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Angel Garcia: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

The {10-Diamonds} turn changed nothing yet but the {8-Spades} river improved Hernandez to the nut flush. Duta was eliminated and Hernandez doubled through Garcia for 235,000.

Kiriopoulos Wins the Battle of the Blinds

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The action folded around to Nicolas Dumont in the small blind who made it 17,500 to go. Demosthenes Kiriopoulos called from the big blind and the dealer spread the flop of {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Dumont continued with a bet of 20,000 and Kiriopoulos called to see the {7-Clubs} on the turn. Both players checked and the {10-Diamonds} completed the board. Dumont checked again and Kiriopoulos placed a bet of 30,000. Dumont quickly mucked his cards and Kiriopoulos scooped the pot.

Yoon Pipped; Flops Set

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Brian Yoon
Brian Yoon

Anthony Zinno opened to 12,000 in the cutoff and the button player three-bet to 35,000. Brian Yoon then jammed his stack in for around 150,000 in the big blind. Zinno went into the tank but decided to lay down his hand, while the button player called to put Yoon at risk.

Brian Yoon: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Button: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Yoon needed help and instantly found it as the dealer spread the {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop. The {3-Diamonds} turn and {a-Diamonds} river confirmed his double to stay alive following the fortunate runout.

Beebe Doubles Through Milliard-Feral

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Three ways to the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, Julian Milliard-Feral and Elton Beebe checked out of the blinds, as did the initial preflop raiser. Milliard-Feral then led the {8-Hearts} turn for 20,000 to get called by Beebe only and the Frenchman jammed the {5-Spades} river.

Beebe called instantly for the 148,000 he had behind and Milliard-Feral shrugged his head before revealing the {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for a bluff, which Beebe had beat with {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for the top pair.

Walton Picks Up Another, This Time A Knockout to Cross One Million

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Just after picking up a big pot, Adam Walton just dragged an even bigger one.

All the chips went in on the turn {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades}, his opponent had turned a set with {2-Clubs}{2-Spades} but he was in trouble against the bigger set of Walton with {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. The {8-Clubs} hit the river and Walton crossed the one million chip mark.

"What a start," said Walton.
