Fetsch Felts One

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The player in the early position raised to 12,000 and Ron Fetsch made the call in the middle position. Anton Wigg three-bet to 52,000 from the late position for the action to fold back to the initial raiser who four-bet jammed for 91,000. Fetsch and Wigg both made the call.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for Fetsch to bet 75,000. Wigg looked at his cards once more before opting to get out of the way.

Initial Raiser: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Ron Fetsch: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

The rest of the board was completed with the {5-Clubs} on the turn and the {q-Clubs} on the river for Fetsch to hold and bust another player on the way to the bubble.

Song Soars Up Further

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

There appears to be a trio near the top of the leaderboard with very similar stack sizes as Jessica Cai was joined by Joshua Paige Remitio and Stephen Song. Especially the latter added a lot of chips lately and just scored a knockout.

Song had been involved from under the gun and the small blind ended up at risk on the {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts} turn against the red-hot wrecking ball Song. He tabled the {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for two pair but Song's {8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} had made a wheel. The {8-Clubs} river was a blank and Song notched up another elimination.

While he was busy stacking up the chips, he grinned and said "it's my day."

Jacobson Loses a Chunk

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Martin Jacobson
Martin Jacobson

There was a raise to 13,000 from middle position and Martin Jacobson called from the small blind. The flop came {8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and both players checked to the {5-Clubs} on the turn.

Jacobson led out with a pot-sized bet of 38,000 and his opponent called to see the {7-Clubs} on the river. Jacobson checked this time and his opponent quickly bet 65,000. Jacobson went into the tank for a couple of minutes and eventually called. His opponent flipped over {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for a set of fives and Jacobson mucked his hand.
